April Paper Trails blog hop
This month we are working with the new CTMH Claire papers. If you came from Tracey's blog then you are on the right trail.
I did three cards this month. One card I did at my upline's- Sandy VanNostrand (the middle card) and the other two I designed myself. I did use some of the burlap and the new chevron denim blue ribbon. I did not have the best lighting and the colors do not look true to the paper pack unfortunately.

We are working with CTMH Buzz and Bumble papers this month. If you have arrived from Connie's blog then you are on the right trail. I did a set of 5 cards that will be a workshop for my customers. These are mainly thank you and birthday cards but this paper is so versatile you could use it for most any occasion. Most of these layouts came from ideas from the Make it From Your Heart idea book. I do have a bunch of the sunset mini medleys sets laying around so I took advantage of this color palette to use it here. I also enjoyed using the burlap, cutting it and fraying it to be the size I needed.
So thanks for stopping by and now you are on your way to Tracey's blog to see some more Buzz and Bumble inspired artwork.

January CTMH Paper Trails Blog Hop
We are using CTMH La Belle Vie papers this month. If you have come from Tracey's blog then you are on the right trail. I did three cards this month. The 2nd and 3rd cards pictured were created using patterns from our new idea book- Make It From Your Heart. I got some inspiration for the first card from a Take Ten magazine my sister bought me for Christmas. I used the sparkles from the black and gray pack as well as some of the black tulle. I used a sponge to put the color in the flowers which are in the Jan stamp of the month set- Happy Valentine's. The flowers were stamped on white, sponged, then cut out and were raised with some foam squares. The heart is popped up with some foam too.
Thanks for stopping by. Now hop on to Mary's blog to continue the hop.

December Paper Trail blog Hop
This months paper trail blog hop is with Avonlea papers. If you arrived here from Vicki's blog then you are on the right trail :)
I decided to do some Christmas cards with this paper. It is very untraditional in terms of Christmas colors but I think they look really festive. I have been trying to add some extra interesting parts to the insides of the cards I have done lately. Three of these cards have something inside other than just a simple stamped image. I did use some opaques and bitty brads and gray bakers twine on these cards. I cut a number of the shapes with the Artiste Cricut cartridge.
This one is similar to the mitten card I did with pear and partridge paper last month. Just changed out the papers and used the same layout.
The pictures below show a desk calendar made with the bigger blocks and card box we sell. I got the tutorial from Lisa Stenz. Behind the December strip, (which is velcro-ed to the box) is a box that holds the other month strips. I am making a number of these for Christmas gifts this year.
Thanks for checking out the blog and now you are off to Connie's blog.

November Paper Trail Blog Hop
Hello,
Welcome to the Paper Trails Blog Hop for November. If you have come from Linda's blog- The Paper Taylor, you are on the right trail. This month we are using the CTMH Pear and Partridge Christmas themed papers. The colors are so traditional. I used Cranberry, New England Ivy and Cashmere. I love these colors together!! I am really loveing the new Cashmere paper color. I did a set of 5 cards for an upcoming workshop. I used the Cricut to cut the mittens and circles and the sentiments shapes. Stamps sets used: Very Merry Christmas, Perfect Fit- Holidays and the Pear and Partridge cardmaking stamp set. I used cranberry baker's twine, some of the new shimmer ribbon and various bling. The sentiments, mittens, and circles are raised with foam tape.
I did do a second 5 card workshop with these papers and will try to get them up soon too.
Thanks for checking out our blog hop and my cards- Hop on to Betsy's Blog to see the other fabulous offerings for this month.
